The Silver Lining bio picture

welcome to the silver lining!

we're amy and kim.

. . . and my oh my do we ever LOVE what we do! We delight in spending your wedding day in your shadow. We create your family's first heirlooms by artistically photographing not just what you wear but how you feel.

We are fabulous friends, kindred spirits & business partners, too. We live in Columbia, Missouri. And we've been making pictures for most of our lives. Photography, for us, is a way of "savoring life intensely, every hundredth of a second." [Marc Riboud, French photographer]

Our SilverBox couples want THAT kind of passion in their wedding photographer. They want authentic pictures that capture the joyous, quirky, love-drenched, laughter-filled moments of their day.

We can hard wait to meet YOU!

I was thrilled to be back in the lovely little town of Palmyra and the bright, pastel-painted St. Joseph’s Catholic Church to photograph Jenny & Adam’s wedding (Lacy & Brian, two of my very first clients, were married in the very...
