our New York loves AND a "dragging the shutter" experiment to try at home

The best thing about photographing New Yorkers?(Specifically midwest born + bred New Yorkers………)Well….weather is never allowed to stand in the way;tremendous outerwear seemingly (always) right at hand; and……..FABULOUS shoes…. stereotyping?SilverBox???well, only in a good way ~ it’s just that our New York clients hold a special place in our hearts. We love that “nothing-can-throw-them-off-their-game” spirit…..When…

john@stillmotion.ca - It’s a shame the image of the girls in the sanctuary wasn’t a bit bigger, it looks really cool!December 16, 2007 – 1:35 pm

Jennie - Once again, thanks for a smile on a Sunday night! The images are incredible, and you’ve managed to capture moments that just make me smile when I view them. It’s always fun to see people I know in the pictures, too! Have a wonderful holiday, and keep the pics coming!December 17, 2007 – 9:46 am

three wineries and a wedding

Here’s one (MORE) thing I loVe LovE LOve about weddings. They often are so very intergenerational…with babes in arms attending alongside a 90+ year old great-grandmother. Mint & Sage Photographic Artists - I love it! I think I spent a full three hours one day just checking out all of the crazy first dance videos on YouTube…..it’s so great that couples want to have fun with their first dance! And AMEN to 1.8!

Jennie - We did! In fact, we were just lamenting the fact that we no longer remembered how to do the tango, considering there aren’t many opportunities to break into a tango. However, perhaps we should have considered THIS dance, instead!

Ah, memories…good thing we have people like you to capture them on film!November 30, 2007 – 9:48 am

Jennie - It WAS us! We had a great time learning it, but were lamenting the other day that we wish we STILL knew how to do it. Unfortunately, there aren’t too many opportunities to whip our your crazy mad tango skillz these days…if only…

Thanks for reminding us of one of our favorite preparatory activities for the wedding! I would have gone all “Baby Got Back” if we had thought of it on our wedding day!December 3, 2007 – 12:31 pm
