there are at least a dozen reasons grace + levi’s wedding made my heart sing. some really big things (like when families are close + simply love laughing together) and some smaller elements that are so very YUMMY! like this fabulously fun, visually stimulating wedding palette: and stumbling upon this painted brick wall while heading…

adam + kristen’s slideshow will be posted later today. oh what a wedding! at annika’s suggestion, i made these announcement cards from friday night pictures to alert guests about said slideshow. kristen is a graphic designer, so i was a bit nervous about creating last-minute cards that were up to the kristen-graham-level-of-cool, but was pleased…

Great job Annika!! What beautiful images!
Funesta looks like a great way to wrap up the school year. Makes me want to be a kid again. Hmmmmm, I think I’m going to call my best bud from grade school and say “hey”. It was fun seeing the kids with all their pals! Thanks for capturing the moments.June 13, 2008 – 4:16 pm
Thanks so much! I really loved it!June 14, 2008 – 11:37 am
LOVED how stephanie’s family members were always sneaking up + hugging each other.so great! john + steph wrote their own vows…can you just say, not a dry in the place! other highlights: hanging with girls getting ready is a good time but becomes big-time extra-special when nieces, cousins, an aunt, a mom + a sister…

I have to say…I LOVE this image! Hard to believe that I had had one of the worst nights of sleep (we have a 3.5 year old who still doesn’t sleep well) and I’d been working at a birth all day (plus a field trip to the Candy Factory thrown in the middle of all of it!) I love that I could call you and we could get this done in 5 minutes on the playground fumbling with my camera (Amy and Kim shoot with Canon’s and I’m a Nikon girl). I knew I could count on you to come through and come through you did–BIGTIME! I’m not the kind of person who likes having her picture taken and I certainly don’t like looking at the end product…but this image…I just keep looking at it and I still LOVE it! I love leap-frog learning too! And I have learned so much from you and Kim over the years. Here’s to good friends who share what they know and don’t ever keep the knowledge to themselves! Again, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! (You can see this lovely image in print in the upcoming issue of Columbia Home and Lifestyles magazine….)March 12, 2008 – 1:28 pm
I put my iPhone to work today!(Well, except for this first image….grabbed the 5D with the 85 attached right out of the camera bag as we were almost ready to walk out the door. There was just something about how proud Zoe looked, all bundled up with arms stretching around oversized Valentine’s Box.) Remember making…
