WPJA’s (the Wedding Photojournalist Association) competition is truly international and they get thousands of entries….so I’m oh-my-gosh, oh-so-proud of KIM WADE right now that i’m dancing in pjs — and yes, even by the windows!!!!! “Tuesdays are lucky,” Becca told me. “It’s a good day to make important life changes” like buying a house or . . . getting married! After Becca & Adam’s wedding in Taos, New Mexico this past Tuesday at El Monte Sagrado resort and spa, I’m inclined to believe her! Becca & Adam’s wedding ceremony took…

Oh it loks like such fun, beautiful documentation!!May 19, 2007 – 9:14 pm
kim, kim, kim, it is soooooooooo strange for me to see myself on the other end of things!! completely surreal. i LOVE what you’ve got here and can’t wait to see more. it was such a pleasure to have you at our wedding. as i have already said a number of times (and adam has repeatedly made fun of me for it), there was only one choice when it came down to a photographer. i usually hate to have my picture taken, but adam and i had such a great time with you. he even joked with me on our trip home when i struck a pose for him that i was basically still in kim mode.
you are phenonemal in what you do and as a person in general and we are forever grateful for that. your energy and positive attitude is contagious and you have taught me well.

okay, Kim…I’ve never before sat at your blogsite and cried over a wedding of two people I don’t even know. I’m sitting here with tears running down my face and a sob here and there. What a beautiful set of images and such a wonderful story, so sacred and so special. Aren’t we so lucky as photographers to be witness to such amazing and awe-inspiring moments in other people’s lives? I am so touched by this gift. Thank you, Kim, for reminding me how lucky I am to be a photographer! You’ve grown so much…those images are truly amazing! -StacieMay 24, 2007 – 8:28 am

Ok, what does a zamboni and kleenex have in common? According to Gary (the groom)…a zomboni is a brand name for those really big ice hockey machine thingamajigees, just like kleenex is a brand name for…tissues! So what does this mean? It means that not all ice hockey machine thingamajigees are called zambonis. And this…

Su & Jason’s wedding was fabulous! What a unique combination of traditions from SINGAPORE (with Jason handing out red money-holding envelopes during a series of tasks & questions put to him by bridesmaids) and the quaint locale of WASHINGTON, MO (including that big red bus & a bit of barhopping ~ literally! ~ along the…
