LAYERS, sweet layers : the richness of life

The Gemming & Self families (and the many aunts, uncles, grandparents & cousins) are the kinds of people you just love to be around: kind & considerate, thoughtful & fun. So fun. I’ve documented lots of weddings and thus have been to many a wedding dance and this one, well just takes the cake! Wow….

time of day matters

How excited (and relieved!) I was when Adrienne & Ryan agreed to step outside during their reception (held at the Saline County Fairgrounds–great idea!) briefly for a few photos as the sun was setting. Future SilverBox brides take note: beautiful light can help make beautiful photos! With a little bit of planning, a little bit…

tnc - Amy – Thanks for posting my boy – he is such a blessing!! We can’t wait for you to meet him!!June 17, 2007 – 1:42 pm

Jennie - I lurve the song! I’m humming it now.

Tracy, congrats on your precious little boy…so cute!

Happy Monday to you guys!June 18, 2007 – 10:51 am

Christi - I love those photos of the cake – how gorgeous! And I love the shout out to the Losapio’s – cracked me up (although, Tom and I are in the same boat as Jennie and Scott – we can bring our dogs!).
Love the pictures!June 18, 2007 – 4:06 pm

I found myself thinking over and over again during Chase & Ashley’s wedding: “I sure hope my kids grow up to be like that!” Hats off to the Patton & Guy families (care to share any parenting secrets?!) for raising two amazing young adults who are not only accomplished but also kind, humble, hardworking and…

Cari & Steve ~ MARRIED!

Look at this charming church! Bethel Church has been around since 1855. Three years after its founding, the sanctuary that Cari & Steve were married in was built from trees growing on the site. Another cool feature: the ministers are a husband and wife team — how great is that! It was a beautiful day…

Glasgow, Missouri, is one of the most charming little towns anywhere. Not only LOVELY countryside, beautifully restored 19th century homes, AND an old railroad bridge that spans the river [see Jaclyn & Adam below.]….but let’s talk people:A few years ago I documented a wedding in Glasgow for a couple I completely fell for, head over…
